Through community outreach initiatives, DIPSER aims to develop caring, well-balanced and responsible teachers. Community outreach is part of our trans-disciplinary curriculum and an important part of fostering the prospective teachers’ profile. Engaging student - teachers in community service projects is an effective way of encouraging our student teachers to be principled, caring and open minded.
As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, DIPSER is engaged in making sustained efforts to do our bit for society. Swachchha Bharat Abhiyan, Dengue Awareness Campaign etc. are organised to reach and help members of the community to protect their health. The NSS unit of our institute sends pupil teachers as volunteers to serve the Bhaktas of Lord Shiva during month long Shravani Mela. The institute also distributes fruits among the Bhaktas, provides them medical services like First Aid etc.. Such exposures help student teachers develop the feeling of compassion and responsibility towards the society and its needy people.
The outreach programs develop and enhance student teachers’ academic skills, leadership qualities, self-confidence, communication skills, managerial skills, and responsibilities toward the community.
