NSS

NSS unit of the college is part of community development activities of our student teachers and is the third dimension of our education matrix. Through NSS programmes, students have the opportunity to explore and manifest their hidden talents like leadership, personality etc. and get directly involved in real life experience of social awareness and emancipation activities thereby growing as responsible and compassionate citizens of the country.

Important areas of activities:

• Sensitizing the community towards cleanliness
• Sensitizing the community against Child marriage, and Dowry and towards respecting human dignity
• Sensitizing the community for developing fitness in order to avoid life style diseases
• Sensitizing and spreading awareness in the community about HIV/AIDS
• Launching Awareness Campaign on different current and social issues
• Launching Awareness Campaign on different current and social issues under government initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan etc.
